Coolant temp sensor 2001 lincoln ls v6. It is on the driver side of engine in between the cop's (coil on plugs) simply unplug the wire use a 19 or 3/4 deep well socket and unscrew it and put it.

There are currently an average of zero degrees outdoors (32f). A coolant temperature sensor costs $30 to $100, and the labor costs $20 to $150.

Also, this coolant bridge picture might be from you car. Right after diagnosing that the sensor is the actual problem (doubtful). In the past day, the coolant gauge has been at zero about 50% of the time.

I think i may have diagnosed the problem now, after playing around with some stuff for a couple hours. The temp sensor for the efi system has a square plug on. Depending on the model year and engine, the location varies.
